Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones, better known as Suranne Jones, is an actor and producer hailing born in England. Suranne Jones has gained fame portraying the character of Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," as Detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama 'Scott & Bailey", and G.P. Gemma Foster in the medical comedy 'Doctor Foster'. Jones is an Greater Manchester native who joined Oldham Theatre Workshop to receive her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. In a stage production of Wait Until Dark, she was Gloria when she was just eight years old. She first appeared on the screen in 1997, as an actress in an episode on "Coronation Street". It was in 2000 that she appeared on the show to as Karen McDonald. Her role was later cast in various TV roles, including 'Vincent,' 'Strictly confidential' and 'Harley Street.' Films like "Broken Hearts" and A Christmas Star', a Christmas Star, and the film Love and a Long Shot she was cast in several parts.
