When Sarah was caught cutting her lawn in order to get to practice for field hockey on time, the drama teacher told her she should skip the practice to join "Richard III." This began her love for acting. Sarah chose to pursue her passion and learn more about the art. Sarah double-majored in English as well as Theatre at Hamilton College. The course was a part of her senior year, she took classes in acting in London, Oxford, and Hamilton. After her graduation, she was awarded a magna cum merite, she applied to Yale Drama school.
